Managing Applications

Installing Applications From a Windows Computer

1.

Double-click the 

.prc

 or 

.pdb

 file you want to install on your Treo.

2.

A dialog may appear with a 

User

 drop-down list. Select your User Name from 

the list.

3.

The Install Tool window appears. If you would like to install additional files, 
simply drag and drop them into the space in this window.

4.

If you want to install an application to an expansion card, click 

Change 

Destination

. Click the arrows to move the application to the expansion card 

pane, then click 

OK

.

5.

Click 

Done

.

6.

Perform a HotSync operation to install the application(s) on your Treo.

Tip: 

On a Windows computer, you can also access the Install Tool dialog by selecting

 Install Tool

 

under 

Handspring

 on the 

Start

 menu or from the 

Programs

 folder.
