3. Stop filling when the desired volume in the mixer biocontainer is achieved.
Solids Addition:
A. Switch the bag inflation control valve to the ‘OFF’ position.
B. Using either a suitable powder transfer biocontainer with the desired mass of solid,
or via simply adding the measured amount via a funnel, add the desired mass of
solids to the fluid volume. When the powder port is opened, the pressure in the
mixer biocontainer will drop to zero (Figure 28).
