9.5.3 Maintenance of the flue
This should be carried out once a year or when-
ever necessary.

If there are horizontal sections, it is necessary to
check and remove any deposits of ash and soot
before they obstruct the passage of fumes.
In the event of failure to clean or inadequate
cleaning the appliance may have operating
problems including:
• Poor combustion.
• Glass blackened.
• Blockage of the burn pot with accumulation of
ash and pellets.
• Deposit of ash and excessive deposits on the
exchanger with consequent poor performance.
9.5.4 Appliance maintenance
This should be carried out once a year or whenev-
er necessary, following the steps indicated below:
• Open the door with the handle.
• Remove the safety bracket, by loosening the
two retaining screws.

• Pull the appliance out until it reaches the end
of the guides.
• Remove the screws
