CAUTION!
Always make sure the Power Switch (86) of the Engine is in its
“OFF”
position prior to performing any service, maintenance, or cleaning of the Pres-
sure Washer or Engine.
before each use,
1.
inspect the general condition of the Pressure Washer. Check
for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken
parts, loose hose connections, and any other condition that may affect the safe
operation of the Pressure Washer. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have
the problem corrected before further use.
do not use damaged equipment.
before each use,
2.
check the
oil level
in the
Engine
. If necessary, fill the Crank
-
case (1) of the Engine with the proper amount and type of engine oil (15W-40).
before each use,
3.
check the
oil level
in the
Pump unit
. If necessary, fill the Oil
Box (120) of the Pump unit with the proper amount and type of oil.
before each use,
4.
check the Air Cleaner Foam (116) for accumulated debris,
rocks, and other objects that may clog the Air Inlet.
(See Assy. diagram.)
In cold weather,
5.
when if the Pressure Washer is not in use, protect the interior of
the unit from freezing by draining any remaining water and pumping a permanent
type automotive anti-freeze containing a rust inhibitor through the system. A 50%
mixture with clean water is recommended. Make sure to flush the system with a
neutralizing liquid prior to re-use of the unit.
to clean the Pressure Washer,

use a garden hose and a mild detergent. Avoid
introducing water into the interior parts of the Engine.
When storing the Pressure Washer,

make sure to store the unit in a clean, dry,
frost-free, safe location out of reach of children and other unauthorized people.
Also, make sure to completely drain the Fuel tank (102).

inspection, maintenance, and cleaning instructions.
