Optional Fan Kit
The optional Comfort Fan kit contains two blowers. Both blowers mount below the firebox and are
powered by the gas control module. Turning the blowers ON and OFF and changing their speed is done
with the fireplace remote control.
Note: The Optional Fan Kit can be installed and serviced after the fireplace is fully installed.
It is easier to install the kit before the front of the fireplace is covered with finishing material.
Installing the Optional Fan Kit:
1.
Remove the Safety Screen and set aside. See "Safety Screen Removal" section in this manual.
2.
Remove the Glass Door assembly and set aside. See "Door Removal" section in this manual.
3.
Remove the front access panel by removing
the two screws, one at each end just behind the
top edge. Tilt the top of the panel out and lift off
the fireplace. This will allow easy access to the
mount the optional blower kit.
4. There are two mounting plates with three posts
in each located on the right and left rear of the
cabinet floor.
