Gas Supply
Caution: The gas supply line should be installed by a qualified service person in
accordance with all building codes. This section is intended as a guide for qualified
technicians installing this fireplace. Consult local and/or national building codes before
proceeding.
A gas supply inlet pipe nipple is located on the right side of the fireplace near the bottom edge. The pipe
nipple accepts a 3/8" N.P.T. fitting.
If need be, the pipe nipple can be relocated to the of the bottom right side of the fireplace. Undo the 4
screws and relocate the assembly to the floor of the fireplace. See Figure 47.
NOTE: A sediment trap, as per national fuel gas code, must be installed in the gas supply line
no more than 6 feet from the gas control valve to minimize the possibility of any loose scale
or dirt within the gas supply line from entering the gas control valve.
