Users
Never use the equipment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Remove all hard or sharp objects from your person before using trampoline.
You should enter or exit the trampoline in a controlled and careful manner and using
the access ladder. Never jump off the trampoline and never use the trampoline as a
way to bounce onto or into other objects.
Learn the basic jumps before trying more difficult jumps. See the section about basic
trampoline jumps.
To stop a bounce, begin bending your knees as your feet touch down on jumping mat.
Ensure that you are in control at all times when on the trampoline. When you execute
a controlled jump, it means you land on the same spot you jumped from. If you start to
lose control, stop the bounce.
Do not jump or bounce on the trampoline for prolonged periods of time or execute
too many consecutive jumps or bounces because tiredness increases the risk of injury.
Keep your eyes on the jumping mat to maintain control.
There must never be more than one person at a time using the trampoline.
There must be a supervisor present at all times when the trampoline is being used.
Users should wear a t-shirt and a pair of shorts or track suit trousers, and gym shoes
and socks, or they should go in their bare feet. New beginners should wear long
sleeves and track suit trousers or similar to protect them against scrapes and
abrasions until they have mastered the landing technique. Do not wear shoes with
hard soles as this will cause the jumping mat to become worn.
Always ensure that you are calm and in control when leaving the trampoline in order
to avoid injury. To dismount properly, move over to the side of the trampoline and
place your hand onto the frame as a support and walk around to the access ladder and
step down to the ground using the access ladder.

Learn the basic jumps and safety rules. To avoid and reduce the risk of injury, ensure
that new beginners learn the basic jumps before they start to learn the more advanced
jumps and ensure that at all times the safety rules are complied with.
All users must be supervised, regardless of age or skill.
Never use the trampoline if it is wet, damaged, dirty or worn. The trampoline must be
inspected for signs of wear before use.
It must be ensured that the trampoline cannot be used if there is no supervisor
present.
Small children should be helped when they are dismounting the trampoline.
