③ Adaptor
Connects the meter body with the preamplifier. Also serves to protect the sensor and dissipate heat.
④ Preamplifier
Transforms changes in electric charges generated from the sensor into an output signal representing the
flowrate. Consists of the interface board, amplifier board, and display board.
Preamplifier physical orientation is adjustable in steps of 90 deg. around the adaptor axis (see Sec. 6.3 on
page 16).
The display can also be oriented in steps of 90 deg. within the preamplifier housing.
