11.1.3 Replaceable Sensor Removal
CAUTION: Since the sensor does not come in contact with the fluid (located external to the housing), it
can be replaced without need of interrupting the fluid flow. But for safety, replace the sensor at
temperatures below 220℃.
〈PROCEDURE〉

View and Parts List on pages 41 and 42.
① Turn off “POWER” switch on the display board (see
Fig. 6.11. on page 18).
② Remove cover (310) on the terminal box (see page
16).
③ In the separately-mounted type, disconnect the
cable for external wiring connections (see page 16).
④ Remove shield strip (307) (page 16).
⑤ Disconnect sensor leads (page 16).
⑥ Loosen hex socket head setscrews (301) and extract
the preamplifier upward.
⑦ Remove C-shaped stop ring (209) for the shaft (Fig.
11.6).
⑧ Remove O-ring retainer (208) and O-ring (207) (Fig.
11.6).
⑨ Taking off bolts (205), remove adaptor (203) (Fig.
11.7).
⑩ Take off sensor fitting screws (hex socket head
screws) (1023) (Fig. 11.8).
⑪ Screwing bolts (M3.5) into tapped holes
provided for sensor removal (two places), force
the sensor to unseat (Fig. 11.9).
⑫ Carefully extract the sensor (1002) from the
oscillating spool (1001) (Fig. 11.10).
