11.2.2 Switch and Potentiometer Settings
(1) Amplifier Board A
NAME
SYMBOL
DESCRIPTION
Amplification adjust
potentiometer
AMP
Amplification factor of the amplifier is factory adjusted relative to
the sensor used. Readjustment is basically not required except
when the sensor is replaced with a new one.
(See Sec.9 FLOW SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE.)
Trigger level adjust
potentiometer
TLV
Sets the trigger level (pulse generation threshold sensitivity) to
somewhere between 80mV and 350mV p-p.
(See Sec.9 FLOW SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE.)
Fluid and nominal dia.
select switch
SEL
Selects amplifier responses relative to the metered fluid and meter
nominal diameter. Setting varies according to the specifications of
the meter used.
Low cutoff frequency
setting switch
FRQ
Cuts off signals the frequencies of which are below the frequency
set by this potentiometer.
Setting varies according to the metered fluid and the nominal
diameter of the meter.
1/2 frequency divide
switch
1/2
Selects the scaling factor for the flowrate signal being measured
(1/1 and 1/2).
Setting varies according to the nominal diameter of the meter.
→ 1/2:Set to “ON” 1/1: Set to “OFF”
Memory switch
MEM
For adjustment at factory
Notch filter-1 switch
Notch filter-2 switch
NF1
NF2
For adjustment at factory
(2) Amplifier Board B
NAME
SYMBOL
DESCRIPTION
Frequency divide
switch
DIV
Selects the factor of scaling for the flowrate signal being measured
(1/1, 1/10, 1/100).
Setting varies according to the nominal diameter of the meter.
Dlsplay mode select
switch
( “MODE” switch)
MODE
Selects display modes in the order of accumulated total flow →
hourly instantaneous flowrate → per-minute instantaneous
flowrate→ resettable total flow.
Also used for reviewing and reconfiguring CPU parameters.
(See Sec. 10. CPU PARAMETER SETUP.)
Flow totalizer reset
switch
( “RESET”switch)
RESET
Resets the resettable total flow reading to zero.
Also used for reviewing and reconfiguring CPU parameters.
(See Sec. 10.CPU RARAMETER SETUP.)
