Before each use, check the product for functional reliability and for possible wear or dam
age.

Do not continue using a product that is no longer functional, or that is worn or damaged.

The patient is sitting on the front edge of a chair. The knee is angled at
45°

1) Position the brace with the middle of the joints approximately even with the top of the patella
(see fig. 7).

Although this puts the brace higher than its final position, it settles into the correct position
on its own.
2) Fasten the rear, top strap for the lower leg (see fig. 8).
3) Fasten the rear, bottom strap for the thigh (see fig. 9).
4) Engage the rear, top strap for the thigh on the pad button with the strap guide loop and pull it
to the back.

The strap guide loop engages audibly.
5) Tighten the rear, top strap for the thigh (see fig. 10).
6) Engage the rear, bottom strap for the lower leg on the pad button with the strap guide loop
and pull it to the back.

The strap guide loop engages audibly.
7) Tighten the rear, bottom strap for the lower leg (see fig. 11).
8) Push the brace towards the thigh and fasten the front strap for the thigh (see fig. 12).
9) Fasten the front strap for the lower leg (see fig. 13).
10) Tighten the brace straps so that the brace fits firmly but is comfortable to wear.
11) After
15 min
of active movement (e.g. slight knee bends): slightly retighten the straps in the
specified sequence (see fig. 2, straps 1-6).
5.2.5 Conversion to CI Version
The brace is in the delivery condition (ACL or CI version). No adaptation is required.
5.2.6 Conversion to PCL Version

The brace is in the delivery condition (ACL/CI version).
1) Switch the Y-hook-and-loop of the front strap for the thigh (strap 2) with the Y-hook-and-loop
of the rear, bottom strap for the thigh (strap 5).
2) Position the brace correctly (see the section "Applying the ACL version", see fig. 7).
3) Fasten the straps in the modified sequence (see fig. 3, straps 1-6).
5.3 Delivery
NOTICE

Damage to the brace due to overloading of the material and improper fit of the brace due to
breakage of load-bearing components

The brace may only be adjusted by qualified personnel.
►
Do not make any improper changes to the settings.
►
Check that the brace fits the leg properly at the time of delivery.

The centre of the patella and the centre of the joints are approximately aligned.
