2.4 CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The MIDIMATE 622 requires no preventive maintenance. However, it is
recommended that the following guidelines be observed.
Cleaning
The instrument should be kept clean and as free of dust as possible:
!
Remove dust using a soft brush and take special care to dislodge any ac-
cumulations of dirt on or around the pushbuttons on the front panel.
!
To clean the cabinet and the front panel, use a soft, slightly damp cloth
with a small amount of mild detergent on it. Do not allow any moisture in-
side the instrument!
!
To clean the display, use a dry cloth or soft brush. Note that the display is
laminated for maximum readability and must therefore be treated with
care.
Display
If your MIDIMATE 622 has been supplied with the optional plastic dust cover,
you should keep the instrument covered at all times when it is not in
operational use.
