Monitor Level
When this button is depressed, the Monitor level of the Stimulus signal may
be adjusted.

The setting of the “potentiometer” is shown both as a bar-graph on the
display and as a percentage of range. Level may be adjusted by turning any
of the rotary control knobs-level is set electronically thus preventing
accidental alteration.
Adjust the level so that the monitor phone level is comfortable.
The selected level will be stored, even after the audiometer has been
powered off.
Talk-Back Level
Pressing this button enables sensitivity adjustment of the Talk-Back
microphone amplifier.

alteration.
Adjust the Talk-Back Level so that the monitor phone level is comfortable.

5.1.3 INPUT LEVEL CONTROLS
Microphone Level
Pressing this pushbutton enables adjustment of the input sensitivity of the
operator's microphone which is used for Live Voice testing and Talk Over
purposes.

The display will show a bar-graph indicating the position of the “Microphone
Potentiometer” while at the same time the Stimulus LED will function as a VU
meter indicating the microphone's signal level.

Turn any of the rotary knobs to change the sensitivity.
Adjust the sensitivity to 0-VU on the Stimulus LED (the peak indication of the
spondee words may exceed 0-VU occasionally).
The sensitivity level is set electronically thus preventing accidental alteration
and it remains as adjusted even after power is switched off.
Tape 1 Level
Tape 1 is a stimulus channel.

When this pushbutton is depressed, Tape 1 input sensitivity can be adjusted
for either a tape recorder or a CD player.
