2.3 SAFETY WARNINGS
2.3.1 GENERALITIES
To avoid accidents, before starting work and before performing
any maintenance operations, it is necessary to read, understand
and follow all the precautions and warnings contained in this
manual.
The user/operator of the machine must decline all responsibility
for operation until having read this manual and fully under‑
stood how to use the machine under the supervision of an
expert and qualified operator.
Carefully read all the safety messages provided in this manual and the safety signs on the
machine.
Keep the safety signs in good condition and replace them if they are damaged.
Make sure that any new components on the machine are provided with the correct safety
signs.
2.3.2 NOISE AND VIBRATIONS
The platforms with thermic motor have been tested according to the parameters of European
directive 2000/14 EC, with the guaranteed sound power level measurement shown on the
machine’s EC declaration of conformity.
When operating the aerial part of the machine, this value is reduced even further as the
basket moves away from the main source of noise.
The vibrations transmitted to the operator from the controls and directly from the floor of
the basket are lower than the maximum allowed limits.
