General function
The heating process of an oven system is divided into various burning phases / stages:
1 Standby phase
2 Heating up phase
3 Heating phase
4 Embers phase
5 Standby phase
The ORTNER Combustion control ensures an optimal sequence of the burn-off phases
of the furnace installation Components such as the sensor and the combustion air flap
ensure accurate control, which not only ensures ease of operation, but also maximum
efficiency
By determining the maximum temperature in the heating phase, and a calculation based
thereon, the optimum shutoff time of the combustion air flap is defined At this time, the
combustion air damper is automatically closed and the embers phase begins In this phase,
an open combustion air flap would lead to an undesirable, faster cooling of the furnace
installation
Thanks to the control, the maximum heat output is achieved, which is delivered to the
room as a soothing heat radiation
A correct combustion
is critical in order to
enable the pleasant
prolonged heat radiation
in the room.
