1.1. Definition
The
ekor
.bat-200 unit is a 24 V
dc
or 48 V
dc
battery charger,
depending on the model, for connection of units which
feed
Ormazabal
cubicles.
1.2. Architecture
The
ekor
.bat-200 charger is a UPS where the battery is
connected to the output, as shown in the image below.

1.3. Processes
1.3.1. Start-up and battery connection
When the unit is connected at 230 V
ac
, it is energised at this
instant since the unit does not have an on switch.
When the charger is energised, the initial PowerUP process
extracts output voltage and checks that there are batteries
connected; if there are, the internal contact closes, starting
the battery charge process.
