Equipment test

7.  Equipment test

7.1.  Force states

Via the web, the unit can force states, switching from one
state to another in order to check operation. The forced
options are as follows:

•

Floating.

Switching to floating state is forced, whenever

there are batteries connected.

•

Fast charge.

Switching to fast charge state is forced,

whenever there are batteries connected.

•

Slow test.

The start of a slow test or measurement of the

discharged capacity is forced.

•

Fast test.

The start of a fast test or internal impedance

measurement is forced.

•

Soft reset.

Pressing this button resets the state machine at

software level. In other words, all the alarms are removed,
and all the meters and the state machine restart, always
maintaining voltage without any interruption in supply.

7.2.  Hardware test

This window can be used to force the state of the luminous
indications and the digital outputs during a specific time
interval in order to test the indication LEDs, the alarms and
the connections between digital outputs and other units.

The test configuration options are described below:

•  The

“Start Hardware Test”

 box enables the tests

process. Test time is limited.

•

“Maximum duration of test”.

 The maximum time

forced variables lasts is configured.

•

LEDs.

The LED associated with the front of the unit can

be enabled or disabled by clicking the box next to each
LED indication.

•

“Relay”.

The charger's digital outputs can be opened

or closed by clicking the box next to each relay.
This action means the proper operation of the
charger's digital outputs can be checked remotely.
