Warnings

- Radio signals from this product can interfere with hearing aids causing a humming

noise. It is also recommended to check with your medical advisor if you have a pace-

maker fitted.

- Cordless phones are not designed to make emergency calls when power fails. An alter-

native should be made available to allow emergency calls.

Safety instructions

In order to be able to operate and use your telephone safely, please read the following

safety instructions.

For the LR76020T/LR7620T Duo/LR8620T/LR8620T Duo answerphone model the default

product PIN (personal identification number) code is preset to 1590. If you change this

PIN code, keep the PIN details in a safe place. Do not lose the PIN code.

To avoid damage or malfunction

. Position the phone / base station on a non-slip surface.

. Lay the connecting cable so that it cannot be tripped over.

. Never expose the telephone handsets or base station to the following

- heaters

- direct sunlight

- moisture

- other electrical devices

. Protect your Base Station and telephone handsets from damp, dust, aggressive fluids

and vapours.

Only use the connecting cables provided with the product.

Only use the power adapters supplied

Only connect approved accessories.

Do Not

- attempt to disassemble the charger, base station or handset(s).

- use any other batteries other than the ones supplied with your phone or recommended

by Orchid.

Power requirements

This product requires an electrical supply of 220-240 volts AC. In the case of power

failure, the phone will not operate.
