Dial pause time setup
To access an exchange line when the Orchid LR telephone is used on PBX, PABX or
comparable telephone system, a dial pause can be inserted after the first digit (usually
dialing 9). The pause can be set to between 1 and 6 seconds.
1 Press [Menu] button to enter the icon page. Scroll to icon. Press [OK] button to
select Setup menu.
2 Scroll to “Network” menu. Then press [OK] button.
3 Scroll to “Pause”. Then press [OK]
4 Use [up/down] buttons to select the pause durations (between 1 second and 6
seconds) and press [OK] button to confirm.
Check Handset battery level
To check the battery capacity level:
1 Press [Menu] button to enter the icon page. Scroll
to icon. Press [OK] button.
2 The battery capacity will be shown with a
percentage figure. 100% means batteries have
been fully charged. Press [OK] button to exit

Key lock
To activate the key lock, proceed as follows:
1. Press and hold down the key marked until a beep tone is heard.
2. After this, will appear in the display and the key pad will be locked.
3. To release the key lock, press and hold the key marked until disappears in the
display. A confirmation beep tone will be heard.
Note.
When key lock is activated, the left soft button is set to [Urgent]. Press [urgent]
button activates a list of emergency numbers for dialing in case of emergency.
