When calling for technical support, be prepared to provide the following information about your
system to the Product Support engineer:

PC configuration (type of processor, speed, memory, and operating system)
•
Software and version being used
•
Controller firmware version
•
A complete description of your hardware and operating systems, including:
–
switch configuration
–
type of power supply
–
types of I/O units installed
–
third-party devices installed (for example, barcode readers)
•
Specific error messages seen.
