The Configure Variables dialog box opens.

In the Type drop-down list, choose the type of variable you want to configure.

If you are adding the variable to a subroutine, select Subroutine in the Scope drop-down list.

Click Add.
The Add Variable dialog box appears.

Name the variable, select the type, and under Initialization, select Persistent/Redundant.
7.
Click OK.
The Add Variable dialog box closes and the new variable appears in the Configure Variables
dialog box.
