Preparing fruit & vegetables
Take the information below as a guideline for preparing the
food you wish to process:
• Do not use the appliance for crushing foodstuff such as
chocolate, ice cubes, nuts, etc.
• Peel fruit with hard and inedible skin such as melon, mango
or kiwi if you intend to put the same kind of fruit through
the juicer.
• To make banana juice, instead of peeling the banana, just
try to cut the stalk and flower ends off the banana.
• The juicer also accepts citrus fruits for juicing. Mind that
citrus fruits must be peeled before juicing. Depending on
the fruit, the juice can be very sour and juicing produces
a lot of pulp. Extract as much juice as possible and blend it
with other juices to enhance their taste and flavour.
• Before juicing, remove any stones or large pips from fruit
such as oranges, peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, etc.
• To prevent apple juice from turning brown, try adding
a little citrus fruit juice.
