correctly operate the appliance - there is also a separate

about “juice” in general.

Therefore:
• Read the operating instructions prior to first using the
appliance.
• Never operate the appliance in any other way but as
described in this instruction manual.
• For one thing, read and take heed of the safety information.

Intended use
• The juicer extracts juice from soft and peeled fruit and
vegetables. To know more about juice, read section
“Interesting facts about juice”.
• Do not use the appliance for crushing other foodstuff such
as chocolate, ice cubes, etc.
• The appliance is designed for private use indoors and not
suitable for commercial applications.

Hazard to children, disabled and inexperienced
persons
• This appliance is not intended for use by young children or
infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised
by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the
appliance safely. Young children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep children away from packaging material. Contains small
parts. Swallowing causes a risk of suffocation. Never allow
head to be put into plastic bag.
Risk of electric shock
• Do not immerse juicer in water or other liquids. Electric
shock hazard! Do not operate the appliance near sources of
wetness such as a sink.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Plug the appliance into a properly installed wall outlet
supplying the power specified in the “Technical Data” sec-
tion.
• Maintain free access to the wall outlet - in case of need you
will want to unplug the unit quickly.
