7.11. User Management
The User Management page is available to users with an Admin account. It has two tabs:
Web Access
and
Linux
.
7.11.1.
Web Access
The C-54 E has three levels of access to the internal web pages. User groups are:
Administrators
,
Operators,
and
Viewers
. Do NOT use the name of one of these groups as a
username. Out of the box, this codec has no user accounts configured
.
The
C-54 E supports
up to 20 users at a time.
To add a user
1.
In the User list section, click
Add
.
The Add User section displays (figure 7.73).
2.
Enter the new username (alphanumeric and
underscore only) and password. Confirm the
password to prevent errors.
3.
Select the appropriate access level.
4.
To write the settings into the module, click
Add
.
The user is added to the User list.
To edit a user
1.
Select the user name from the User list, and then
click
Edit
.
The Edit User section displays (figure 7.74).
2.
Modify the username, permission level and/or
password.
3.
To write the settings into the module, click
SAVE
.
