A selection you make here, applies to all four Video Inputs.  
To generate the preview, the selected encoder must be enabled. This is 
done on the web page of the specific Video Input (see section 7.7). Here, 
each encoder has its own tab, allowing you to configure its individual 
settings. 

Video player 

Select the video player plug-in that is to display the images. The C-54 E 
supports QuickTime and VLC. If neither is detected on the host machine, 
the drop-down list shows a “No Player” indication. Refer to Appendix 4 for 
video player plug-in installation. Note that MPEG-2 video streams can be 
viewed in VLC only.
