6. 1 Precautions for Signal Output Unit
WARNING
・ Do not input an external signal to the output channel of the DS - 0545 2ch Signal Output Unit.
Inputting an external signal to the output channel may cause failure of the DS - 0545 2ch Signal
Output Unit, electric shock or damage.
・ Do not cause a short circuit between the BNC connector output and the ground.
The occurrence of a short circuit may cause failure of the DS
- 0545 2ch Signal Output Unit, electric
shock or damage.
・ Do not apply an input voltage exceeding the rating to the BNC input connector for the summation
function ( option) .
Applying an input voltage exceeding the rating may cause failure of the input channel for the
summation function, electric shock or damage.
・ Do not apply a voltage exceeding 42 Vpk between the BNC connector for the summation function
( option) and the ground, or between the ground of the BNC input connector and the frame ground.
Applying a voltage exceeding 42 Vpk may cause failure of the input channel for the summation
function, electric shock or damage.
CAUTION
・ If the status LED of the output channel of the unit blinks or turns on in orange, it indicates an
overloaded state. The output waveform is unreliable.
Review the connection method in consideration of the impedance of the device to be connected.

・ Do not block the ventilation hole of the fan. It obstructs heat radiation. Blocking the ventilation hole
of the fan causes increase in the internal temperature, which may result in failure or malfunction.
There is also a risk of fire. Never block the ventilation hole.
・ Heat contained inside the system may cause fire. Install the unit in a well - ventilated place away from
walls.
・ Wind noise from the fan needs to be considered when recording sound data.
