2. 2. 1 Overview of Main Unit
The DS - 5100 Main Unit is the central unit in the DS - 5000 series Data Station.
・ The DS - 5100 Main Unit manages individual units and supplies power and clock to them.
・ The DS - 5100 Main Unit communicates with the personal computer on which O - Solution is started.
・ Power to the DS - 5100 Main Unit is supplied from the supplied AC adapter ( regardless of the unit configuration) .
・ Operation by battery is available by adding the optional DS - 0501 Battery Unit For DS - 5000 series.
・ Up to five DS - 5100 units can be operated in an interlocking manner using the hardware connection cables between
them.

Power switch (LED incorporated)
Hold down the switch for one second or more to turn on/off.
Turning the switch on causes LED to turn on, and turning the switch off causes LED to turn off.
؞ Output connector for headphone monitor (stereo Φ3.5 connector)
Used to check the measurement signal connected to the input unit BNC connector by means of sound.
A commercially available headphone is connected.
؞ SD card slot
A slot for an SD card.
؞ USB connector
