The DS

0501 Battery Unit For DS

5000 series is an optional power supply unit that supplies power to the DS

5100
Main Unit by the built
-
in lithium
-
ion battery.
With the battery unit connected, up to three different types of power supplies ( AC adapter/ external DC power
supply/ battery) can be used.
An external DC power supply of 10 to 28 VDC can be connected to the external DC power supply connector ( DC
INPUT) on the rear side of the DS

5000 series. The connected external DC power is
supplied to each unit via the DS
-
5100 Main Unit.

Order of Power Supply
With the external DC power supply connected, power is supplied preferentially from the lithium
-
ion battery. If the
external DC power supply is lost due to instantaneous power failure, etc. , a switch to the lithium
-
ion battery is made
automatically.
The order of preference for power supply is as follows: 1. AC adapter
