tion.  If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

Always wear ANSI approved safety impact eye goggles and heavy work gloves
when using the Lantern.
Using personal safety devices reduce the risk for injury.
Safety impact eye goggles and heavy work gloves are available from Harbor Freight
Tools.

Maintain a safe working environment.  Keep the work area well lit.  Make sure
there is adequate surrounding workspace.  Always keep the work area free of ob-

wet location.

4.

Never leave the Lantern unattended when it is plugged into an electrical out-
let to charge.
Do not let the unit overcharge. When the charging indicator light
indicates a full charge, unplug the unit from the charger.  Failure to do so will dam-

5.

Always take the Lantern down when charging.  Hanging cords may be tripped

Never use the Lantern if the battery is leaking.  A leaking battery discharges
battery acid which is capable of burning or blinding.  If you come in contact with
battery acid, immediately flush the area contacted with cold water and seek medi-
cal assistance.

7.

Do not leave the Lantern out in harsh weather, wind, or rain.
