“CODE39” menu
You can change the settings of Code 39.
When you select “CODE39”, the following dialog box appears.

You can specify whether or not to permit for reading Code 39.

You can select whether or not to transfer Start/Stop characters.
③
Select whether to enable or disable the check digit.
④
Select whether or not to transfer a check digit appended to the bar code.
! CAUTION !
The Setup Program recognizes the last digit of bar code data as a check digit regardless of
whether or not a check digit is appended to it. Thus, to read a bar code having no check digits
assigned, select “Transfer C/D”.

You can specify whether or not to permit for reading 1-digit bar code. Normally you select
“1-digit reading permission”.
