Main menu
This section explains the main menu buttons on the operation screen.
Main menu:
①
Reads the current configuration of the code reader from it to your PC.
②
Allows you to view the reading rate.
! CAUTION !
Configurations associated with the code when checking the reading rate are to be
measured during initial setup.
③
Allows you to view data read in the continuous reading.
④
Measures read time including time taken to send commands.
⑤
Allows you to stop reading after you clicked “Reading rate” or “Cont. reading” button.
⑥
Quits the Setup Program.

Functional description of each button
1) “Download settings” button
The current configuration is read from the code reader to your PC.
As shown below, a count-up window appears under the “Download settings” button that shows
the progress of counting, in which a count-up operation is performed starting at R1 and ending
at R412 and the settings are read.
When the count-up window disappears and the current settings are represented in binary as
shown below, they have been successfully read.
