HOT CUES
Setting Hot Cues
The bank buttons 1 to 4 allow storing four hot cue
points or hot loops temporarily or permanently in
the memory of the player.

First press the button SAVE to activate the
storing.
•
The button lights up blue.

During playback, either press one of the
bank buttons 1 to 4 when the desired cue
point is reached (fly cue) or set the player to
pause with the button [
►II
] and use the
jogdial to go to the precise spot, then press
one of the bank buttons. For setting hot
loops, follow the steps described in the
previous section.
• The bank button will be flashing several
times and then light permanently blue.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 for setting further cue
points.

The bank buttons 1 to 4 can now be used to
return to the corresponding cue points.

The bank buttons can be overwritten with
new cue points any time.

To delete cue points, press the button
CLEAR (LED lights) and the desired bank
button.
• The bank button will be flashing red several
times and then extinguishes.
• To turn off the delete function, press the
button CLEAR once again (LED
extinguishes).
Storing Hot Cues
The hot cue points and hot loops are deleted
when changing the data carrier. To store them
permanently, 500 memory locations are available.
Each memory location allows storing the points
adjusted with the bank buttons 1 to 4. Thus, a
total of 2000 hot cue points and hot loops can be
stored.
For storing, keep the button SAVE pressed until
the display inserts ”Saving“. The button flashes
several times.
Loading Hot Cues from the Memory

If the player detects hot cue points or hot
loops when selecting a title with the press
control TRACK [
], the display shortly
inserts “Load Cues?“.

Press the button RECALL Y to load the
points. The bank buttons for which a point
has been memorized will light up blue.
