SEAMLESS LOOPS
A certain section can be repeated as a seamless continuous loop as many times as desired; either as
automatic beat-synchronized loop or as a loop to be adjusted as desired. This loop can be overwritten at any
time and is deleted when selecting another title or changing the data carrier.
Automatic Beat-synchronized Loop
The built-in beatcounter allows for playing a short
beat-synchronized loop which has the exact
length of 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8,
or 16 beats.

Activate the setting mode for the loop length
with the selector switch [
⊳
] so that the red
LED next to the switch lights up.

Then adjust the number of beats with the
beat assignment buttons [
⊳
] and [ ].The
LEDs between the buttons show the length
by the number of beats.

Press the button AUTO LOOP to switch on
the automatic loop mode (LED lights).

In play mode, press the button IN when the
desired starting point of the loop is reached.

If necessary, you can change the length with
the beat assignment buttons [

To exit the loop and to continue the title,
press the button OUT.
Playing a Continuous Loop

Setting the starting point "on the fly"
: In
play mode, shortly actuate the button IN
when the desired starting point of the loop is
reached.
• Playback is not interrupted.
• The button lights red.
Setting the starting point precisely to 1
frame (1/75 second)
:
Select the operating
mode Pitch Bend with the button JOG MODE
and set the unit to pause. Then use the
jogdial to go to the precise spot. After
turning, the current spot is constantly
repeated. Shortly actuate the button IN to set
the starting point.

Setting the end point "on the fly
": In play
mode, shortly actuate the button OUT when
the desired end point of the loop is reached.
• The section between the starting point and
the end point of the loop is continuously
repeated.
• The LEDs of the buttons IN and OUT will be
flashing.
• The display indicates “RELOOP”.
Setting the end point precisely to 1 frame
(1/75 second)
: Set the unit to pause. Then
use the jogdial to go to the precise spot.
After turning, the current spot is constantly
repeated. Shortly actuate the button OUT to
set the end point. Then actuate the button
RELOOP to start playing the loop.

To exit the loop and to continue the title,
press the button OUT.
• The LEDs of the buttons IN and OUT will
stop flashing but will remain on to indicate
that a loop has been memorized and is ready
to be engaged.
• By selecting another title it is also possible to
exit the loop.

To restart the loop, press the button
RELOOP.
• The buttons IN and OUT will be flashing
again.

To program another loop, redefine the
starting and the end point with the button IN
and OUT. While playing a loop, the end point
may be changed.
