Fader Start  

 

 

 

 

The  player  can  be  started  or  set  to  pause  via  an  external  mixer  with  fader  start  function.  Use  the  supplied  
3.5 mm jack cable to connect the output RELAY on the mixer. 
 

USB Link Operation 

 

 

 

When two DJS-2000 are connected via USB for USB Link operation, a secondary player can access a USB 
device  inserted  in  the  main  player.  Both  players  can  access  the  same  USB  medium  and  play  titles 
simultaneously. 
 
Follow these steps for USB Link operation: 
 

1 

Call the system settings on the main player with the button ENTER. 

2 

Browse the main menu with the press control FOLDER [

] and select menu item “MIDI Setup“. 

3 

Turn the jogdial to the left, until the display indicates USB = LINK. Press the button ENTER to save the 
setting and exit the system settings. Insert the USB device into USB port 1 on the top panel of the main 
player. 

4 

Connect the jack USB MIDI on the main player to the USB port 1 on the on top panel of the secondary 
player with the supplied USB cable. The display on the secondary player inserts “Connecting“. 

5 

After the read-in, the secondary unit can access the USB device inserted in the main unit.
