4.  Primary should change 

to “Standby” and Secondary to “Active” 

5.  Unplug the Programming Cable from the Primary, and plug it into the Secondary. This 

is because you are now no longer able to control the Primary changeover, because 
the Secondary is in control. 

6. 

Change the “Force Primary Failure” setting from True to False. 

7.  The Primary should once again resume control, and the Secondary will go to 

“Standby”. 

NOTE: If you leave the Force flag set, it will time out after about five minutes and 
automatically clear. If the primary is in standby, then it will resume control from the secondary 
controller.
