After every 1000 hours:
Inspection of the printer chamber fans consists in visual inspection that they are in motion during
the printing process.
To clean the axis, disconnect the printer from the power supply and then use a sponge / cloth with
an organic solvent (petroleum spirit, acetone) to thoroughly clean the X, Y and Z axes.
Be especially careful when working with organic solvents. The room should be
well ventilated due to toxic and flammable vapors. Solvent vapors can form
explosive mixtures with air. Organic solvents can cause skin dryness and cracking
and can be hazardous to the eyes. For this reason, individual protective measures
such as gloves made of a suitable material and protective glasses should be used.
The possibility of static charging should be kept to a minimum. Detailed
information can be found in the Solvent Safety Data Sheet.

Cleaning
In order to provide the printer with optimal working conditions, the inside of the printer should be
kept clean. The most important cleaning components are listed in the maintenance chart for the
Omni500 LITE. However, in order to achieve the best possible quality of prints, the printer should be
in perfect condition. When cleaning the printer, pay particular attention to:
•
Work platform
•
X, Y, Z axis guides
•
X, Y, Z driving axles
•
Endstops
•
The inside of the extruder body (rack)
•
Printheads
•
Filament guides (from the inside)
It is also recommended to keep other components clean, it helps to reduce the negative impact on
the rest of the printer.
