This unit can also be used for ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) light observation by replacing the
LED unit with one that is optionaly.
UV and IR light rays are not visible to the eyes, and therefore care is needed when handling
them. Make sure to follow the instructions of a professionally-trained specialist during use.
For more details on replacement of the light source unit, refer to “Replacing the LED unit”
(page 88). Also, when a UV or IR LED unit is connected, a confirmation screen will appear when
you turn on the power of this unit. Press “OK” and use this unit according to the basic procedures.

Loosen the 4 bolts on this unit with a hexagonal wrench (comes supplied with the
LED unit that is optionaly).

Remove the LED unit.

Store the removed LED unit safely to
prevent dirt from adhering to the inner
face of the unit.
