Hard Disk Drive
The hard disk drive is used to store your data in the computer. The hard disk can be taken
out to accommodate other 2.5" serial (SATA) HDDs with a height of 9.5 mm.
The HDD is located in the bay on the right of your computer, and this can be opened after
elevating the keyboard and accessing the screw securing the hard disk assembly.

Power Safety
Before attempting to ac-
cess any of the internal
components of your
computer please ensure
that the machine is not
connected to the AC
power, and that the ma-
chine is turned off. Also
ensure that all peripheral
cables, including phone
lines, are disconnected
from the computer.

Hard Disk Drive Speeds
If you are going to upgrade/replace the hard disk
drive, note that It is recommended that HDDs of a
maximum speed of 5400 RPM are used . DO NOT
use 7200rpm or higher HDDs.
