4. Use the keypad to enter the destination fax number.
* The fax number can also be entered with abbreviated
numbers or one-touch keys.

5. Press the START key and the face down side of the
documents will be scanned into memory.

6. Once all of the documents have been ejected onto the
document eject tray, “CHANGE DOC. SETTING” will appear
in the message display. Turn the documents reverse side
down and set them on the document table. Once the
documents are set on the document table, they will be
automatically scanned into memory, combined with the
previously scanned data and the transmission operation will
begin.

for more detailed information on using one-touch keys and
“Abbreviated Numbers”, page 2-22, for more detailed information on
using abbreviated numbers.
* If “DOCUMENT MISMATCH” appears in the message display, the
number of pages scanned for the front side and the number
scanned for the reverse side is different. In this case, press the
STOP key and perform the operation once again from the
beginning.
