Registering a contact address (iFax)
Up to 2,000 contacts can be registered. Contact name, iFax address, transmission mode and the conditions for the
destination machine can be registered for each contact.

Add the name.

Enter the destination name to be displayed on the Address Book.

Enter an address number.
To have the number assigned automatically, select [
Auto
](0000).

Enter the destination iFax address (E-mail address).

Select [
](iFax icon).

Enter the destination iFax address (E-mail address).
To send by Direct SMTP, enter the IP address of the other machine.

NOTE
Address Number is an ID for a destination. You can select any available number out of
2,000 numbers for contacts and 500 numbers for groups.
If you specify an address number that is already in use, an error message appears when
you select [
Register
] and the number cannot be registered. If you set [
Auto
] (0000) as
the address number, the address is registered under the lowest available number.
NOTE
Up to 256 characters can be entered.
