6.1 Authentication Unit (Biometric Type)
The Authentication Unit (Biometric Type) is a "biometrics (biometric authentication) system" that scans fin-
ger vein patterns to perform personal authentication. It offers a system that makes it difficult for someone to
masquerade as an authorized user, realizing enhanced security.
If this machine provides the user authentication, you can log in to this machine or execute a print job using
the biometric authentication function.
