Attach a ruler (1) to the chin rest.

Start with the smallest magnification (2) of your slit lamp, here 6x
magnification.

Focus the ruler on the monitor. The scale on the ruler must be clearly
legible.

Capture an image with the ruler, sect. 10, page 23 .

Switch to the next larger magnification and capture another image.

Repeat this procedure until you have captured an image of the ruler
at all magnifications of the slit lamp. The order of captured images
should be in the same as the order of the slit lamp magnifications.

Close the image window.
