In order to prevent the piled sets from collapsing, the capacity is otherwise determined as follows
according to the number of sheets of a set.
10 to 30-sheet-bound set: 50 sets
31 to 150-sheet-bound set: 35 sets or until detected as full load
151 to 300-sheet-bound set: Until detected as full load
0 Secondary (sub) tray capacity: 200 sheets (Full-load detection function is available.)

: Specify the custom body size from the Paper Presetting Screen. For details, see page 9-33.
Specify the custom cover size from the Perfect Binding Screen. The custom cover size can also be
selected from the registered custom sizes. For details on registering the custom size, see page 9-33.

: The minimum/maximum number of sheets to be bound in Perfect Binding can be changed according

Also, the machine can be set to detect the thickness of body set and to stop the binding operation
temporarily if the width of the cover to be used is unsuitable for the body set. For details, see the User’s
guide – POD Administrator’s reference.

: The capacity may be reduced due to the swell of piled sets caused by curled paper etc.

: Detecting the first column as full load, the machine automatically shifts the sets in the first column
to the second column, if empty, then again starts to pile the sets in the first column.
