Hold the upper guide plate down and cut the tape at the knife section by quickly
pulling the edge up so that the tape is cut by the upper knife. (see figure 145).

Close the side door of the reinforcement unit.

It is recommended that you clean the reinforcement knives each time you insert
a new roll of tape. For more information about cleaning the knives see
‘Cleaning the reinforcement knives’ on page 148.
