Marinating in a marinating box (accessory 7962)
Place the device on a flat surface and plug it into a wall socket. All signal lights
light up shortly and then switch off, except for the Dry lamp that continues to
shine.
1. Make sure the vacuum canister, its top and gaskets are clean and dry.
2. Place the marinade together with fish/meat in the vacuum canister; be
careful to not exceed the maximum level. Put on the top of the vacuum
canister.
3. Remove the hose located on the underside of the cover and then push
one connector on the device hose connection (8) and the other end into
the hole on the vacuum container lid.
4. Close the lid and push the handle down. Push the Canister button and
the vacuum process begins immediately. The signal light lights up and
the vacuum process begins. The process can be followed through the
progress lights. Push on the top with your hand at the beginning of the
process to avoid air leakage between the vacuum canister and top. Note
that the container is compressed somewhat during the vacuum process,
which may cause a creaking noise to arise. This is normal and nothing that
affects the results.
5. When the canister is under pressure, this is indicated by the “Pressure
indicator” button being compressed.
6. The device automatically switches off after about 30 seconds, and the
Canister light will turn off.
7. Let the marinated meat/fish rest in the container under vacuum pressure
for 30 seconds.
8. Push the “Vacuum release” button on the canister lid and then repeat
steps 4-8 above four times for the best results.
9. After the fourth repetition, let the meat/fish marinate under vacuum
pressure for around 20 minutes. This makes it easier for the marinade to
permeate the meat.
10. To open the top of the vacuum canister, push the “Vacuum release” button
on the top to release the pressure, then the top of the vacuum canister can
be lifted off.
11. The vacuum canister can be cleaned and washed in a dishwasher (not the
top) after use. Never use solvents when cleaning.
12. If it looks like dirt has gotten under the white protective cover on the
underside of the top, the protective cover can be removed and washed by
hand. Then dry off the underside of the vacuum canister’s top with a wet
rag before the protective cover it put back on. Check that the protective
cover is properly in place. Note that the entire top cannot be washed by
hand, only the white protective cover.
13.
NOTE!
The vacuum canister and cap may not be used in a microwave
oven.
Date marking the marinating box
On the top of the vacuum canister, you can easily set the packing date and
month by pushing the markers to the current date.
