TouchPoint Console Installation and Setup Guide

Chapter 1: About TouchPoint Console
Licensing Requirements
Each TouchPoint Console consumes one Device Connector license from System Manager > Licenses within Equitrac
Professional. The Equitrac Professional Standard Edition is licensed for 25 Device Connectors, and expansion packs
can be purchased if required.
Ensure that licenses are applied in System Manager prior to installing TPC. If TPC cannot find a license, errors will
occur.
Network Prerequisites
If you are using DHCP to assign IP Addresses to TouchPoint Consoles, Equitrac recommends configuring the DHCP
server to associate the DCE server by option 230. This value allows the DHCP server to locate and correctly identify
the load file for TouchPoint Consoles. See
on page 18 for instructions.
