the Flash button. At this point the LED display should read "FP". Now, tap the desired Scene Select button and the
programming will be complete.
Activating Flash Scenes
To toggle on the Flash mode, just tap the Flash button. Flash mode is indicated on the LED display with letters
"FL". To flash a programmed flash scene, simply press the desired scene select button. Flash Scenes will remain
on only while the Scene Select button is held down and can be brought up over any other controller effect. Be sure
to exit flash mode by tapping the Flash button again, before trying to recall memory scenes.
Chase Effects
There are four (4) programmable chase effects available on the NCM 6200. Three of these are programmable to
32 steps, while the fourth one chases through the eight memory scenes of the current page.
Programming Chase Effects
Chases 1 - 3 can be programmed by first entering the Chase Program mode by pressing the Program button
followed by the Chase button. At this point "CP" will be displayed on the LED display. Now press the scene select
button corresponding to the chase number (1, 2, or 3) you desire to program. The digital LED display will show
-00" indicating the first step is to be programmed.
Select the channels to be on for this step. Move the channel level slide controls of these channels to maximum
and move all the other channel sliders to full off. Then tap the chase button to place the channels in memory. The
LED display will now show the number of the next step to be programmed.
Repeat the above paragraph until the desired number of steps have been programmed then tap the Blackout
button to exit Chase Program mode.
Activating Chase Effects
To activate a chase, first move the Chase Rate control to the desired step rate. You can then activate a chase by
holding down the Chase button tapping the corresponding Scene Select button (1, 2, 3, or 4).
Once the chase is activated the LED above the Chase button will then flash with each chase step sequence, and
the user can change the rate with the Chase Rate slide control. If the slide control is brought to the fully down
position, the chase will stop sequencing until the slide control is raised again.
The Chase button has three different uses while a chase is active. If the Chase Rate slider is in the fully down
position, the Chase button can be used to sequence the chase one step at a time by simply tapping it. If the Chase
Rate slide control is not fully down, the Chase button can be used to halt the chase sequencing until the button is
released. Finally, the Chase button can be used to crossfade to another chase by simply repeating the above
chase activation procedure.
Manual Crossfade
The Manual Crossfade slide control can be used to manually crossfade between scenes. To load a scene place
the manual crossfader control in the full up or down position. Then press the Load button follow by pressing the
