12 VDC Power Option
Additional or alternate
12V power pins are available that may be specified at time of order (See part number). The additional
power pins are provided in case the available
12VDC bus power is insufficient for the card configuration. When the factory
installed jumpers are connected,
12VDC power is derived from the backplane power planes. The additional power pins will
now be HOT. When the jumper is disconnected, the card will derive its
12VDC from the external power pins.
