5. Proceed to the front of the trailer and locate the
hand winch.
6. Firmly grasp the handle of the winch and turn it
counterclockwise to lower the light post.
Note:
there will be no clicking “noise” when cranking
the winch.
7. Lower the light post until it reaches the stop.
8. Deploy the spring bolt so it engages with the
horizontal angle iron of the light post.
9. Proceed to the rear of the trailer and remove
the sign post locking pin. Pivot the sign 90°
towards the front of the trailer. Reinsert the lock
pin to secure for transport.

Note: The towing vehicle’s hitch must be between
19” to 20” measured to the center of the ball
from level ground. This will keep the trailers level,
permit locking of two trailers for tandem tow, and
ensure the trailers tow in a safe, stable manner.
Improper hitch height can result in dif
fi
culty
locking the trailers, and cause trailer instability
during transport.
1. Retrieve the tongue and remove the hitch pin in
the bumper.
2. Slide the tongue fully into the insert in the
bumper until it stops.
3. Secure the tongue with the hitch pin. Install the
cotter pin into the hitch pin.
4. Plug the running light cable from the tongue
into the outlet on the frame.
5. Pull the towing vehicle in front of the trailer.
6. Raise the front of the unit using the two front
jacks (top wind) enough for the tongue to clear
the ball hitch on the towing vehicle.
7. Reverse the towing vehicle so the ball hitch is
underneath the tongue coupler.
8. Lower the front jacks to connect the coupler to
the ball hitch, lock the coupler latch, and secure
the coupler lock pin.
9. Connect the safety chains and the running light
plug to the towing vehicle.
10. Retract all jacks.
