Replacing a power supply

Remove the 4 retaining screws and lift off the power supply cover (see
Figure 3-13).

Remove the 5 screws that secure the power supply unit to the VCE.

Lift the power supply out of the VCE.

Place the new power supply in the same location as the old one and secure
it to the VCE using the 5 screws supplied.

Reconnect all cables to the power supply. This involves making 7
connections:
a.
Connect the red wires to - and -S (connected to fuses F1 and F2)
b.
Connect the white-red wires to +S and + (connected to TB1/3)
c.
Connect the green wire to GRD (connected to TB2/1)
d.
Connect the white wire to N/L2 (connected to TB2/3)
e.
Connect the black wire to L1 (connected to TB2/4).

Replace the power supply cover and the 4 cover-retaining screws (see
Figure 3-13).

Replace the VCE cover and the 4 cover-retaining screws.

Reconnect the VCE ac-power supply.

Turn on the VCE power switch.
